Hakuhodo DY Media Partners and the International Judo Federation
conclude agreement for broadcasting rights until 2020

Hakuhodo DY Media Partners Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hisao Omori; “Hakuhodo DY Media Partners”) and the International Judo Federation (Headquarters: Lausanne, Switzerland; President: Marius Vizer; “IJF”) have concluded a basic agreement for the worldwide distribution of the broadcasting rights for IJF World Championship and IJF World Judo Tour from 2017-2020.

The IJF is the governing body for the sport of Judo, hosting competitions such as the World Judo Championship. The basic agreement covers a major portion of the media and marketing rights for IJF organized competitions until December 2020 (excludes broadcasting and distribution rights of the country hosting the World Championship).

Major IJF sponsored events:

• World Judo Championship (held every year except Olympic years)
• World Judo Tour (Masters, Grand Slam, Grand Prix)
